CRYPTO GAMING HEADLINES

NFT game Munchables experienced a compromise and exploitation resulting in over $90 million. The funds, taken by a former developer, have been returned without any ransom required, with the team now working on distributing the funds back to users safely.

($ASTR) Sony has partnered with Astar Network with a shared vision of creating Sony's own blockchain network. Sony is looking to continue imprinting their footprint in the Web3 space after they have already pioneered the concept of "super-fungible tokens".

MapleStory has incorporated the idea of integrating real-world economics into its MMORPG. This concept was unveiled by Keith Kim, the head of strategy at MapleStory Universe, during "MapleStory Universe GDC 2024", where he focused on the development process of MapleStory N.

Param Gaming has registered over 1 million users within 2 weeks. Among these users, over 300k wallets have been connected to the gaming ecosystem.

($MBX) MARBLEX and BNB are set to strengthen their collaboration through the integration of the MBX Game Token (gMBX). The tokens will be tradeable at a 1:1 ratio with MBXL and will enable users to use MBX tokens directly within games.

Gaming platform Elixir Games has secured $14 million in funding ahead of their token launch. They are now backed by the Solana Foundation and gaming giants Square Enix.

($ILV) Illuvium has revealed its new roadmap and details regarding Private Beta 4 (PB4) and Open Beta Testnet. Registration for PB4 starts on April 15th, with $ILV tokens available as Play-To-Airdrop rewards.

($SOL) Circle, the issuer of the popular stablecoin USDC, has partnered with Solana to introduce its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol to the blockchain ecosystem. Developers will now be able to natively swap USDC tokens from Ethereum and other EVM-compatible ecosystems, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, among others

Teases of a potential launch of a crypto-powered payment system on X are generating excitement within the crypto community. The excitement continues to grow after Elon Musk secured licenses for payment processing and money transmitter operations in three US states.

($PYTH) The Pyth Oracle Network is now accessible on Merlin Chain, granting developers access to Pyth Price Feeds. Developers on the Bitcoin Layer 2 will have access to over 400 low-latency data feeds across major crypto and traditional asset classes.

OG Labs has raised $35 million in their pre-seed round. The team is building the first modular AI chain that aims to alleviate the pain points of on-chain AI applications in the Web3 ecosystem.

($ADA) The Cardano founder has confirmed that the blockchain will host a new crypto AI token known as ASI Token. This token is the focal point of a collaboration between SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, who have formed the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance.

($ARB) Azuki has chosen to collaborate with Arbitrum to release an anime-themed chain. The blockchain, known as AnimeChain, aims to be a one-stop shop for anime creators and fans.

Cube.Exchange announces the establishment of a Guardian Council aimed at preventing fraud and enhancing security for users on its platform. Participants in this council include the Solana Foundation, Everstake, Triton One, Juicy Stake, and Kiln.

The SEC has requested a New York Judge to impose a fine of nearly $2 billion against Ripple Labs, as per court filings. Ripple Labs' Chief Legal Officer, Stuart Alderoty, criticized the SEC and stated that the company will submit its response to the SEC's motion next month.
